I have long been itching to write about this matchup.

It has long been cleared to me that the Sy's are merely minority stock holders in FEU, whereas they are a major player in National. No conflict of interest there.

Here comes the confusing part. It is open knowledge that basketball godfather Mikee Romero sponsors a number of collegiate teams. It is also open knowledge that he has 'interests' in the NU basketball program.

The Soaring Falcons just reached an all-time low. I mean, scoring a paltry 42 points... against UP of all teams. Even the Luigi Trillo-mentored Mark Abadia batch was not this single game bad. Even if they were 0-14 that time, they were fighting.

Can somebody explain to me how the hell three starters went scoreless?

As for UE, anything less of a win against the faltering Falcons would be a disappointment. And that's that.

The two would break a tie of ignominy. The winner stays at sixth with the loser all alone at dead last. This should be interesting.

For the Maroons, winning this one would mean they improved at least three-folds from last season. For Adamson, a win would also better their standing from last year.

The difference lies that more was expected from the Falcons when the season started. That said, this may still count as a disappointing season for the San Marcelino-based squad.
